The C2 Series No-Nozzle connector — the plug half of the C2 interface — is supplied in black / white. The C2 uses the same orange push-button release and body moulding as the C1 but is supplied without the water nozzle. The C2 Series No-Nozzle connector — the plug half of the C2 interface — is supplied in black / white. The C2 uses the same orange push-button release and body moulding as the C1 but is supplied without the water nozzle. It is the dry variant for machines that share a housing platform but do not circulate fluid.
It is used on dry handpieces on platforms whose housing is shared with a water-carrying model. Because there is no fluid path, the internal volume is free for a larger signal block and more generous creepage between the power contacts. It lets an OEM use one housing and one cable assembly across wet and dry models, changing only the connector variant.
The mating half is a separate part number; ordering both together is the only way to guarantee the keying and contact block match.
